The Baughn Family

Ms. Mary Loretta Baxter, age 88, of Dillsboro, Ind., died Thursday, February 16, 2006, at Waters of Dillsboro Manor in Dillsboro, Ind.

Ms. Baxter was employed by the US Post Office for over 50 years. During the last twenty years, from 1971 to 1995, she was the Postmaster of the Dillsboro Post Office. She was a member of Hogan Hill Baptist Church..and the 50 + Club.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph Baxter and the late Eva (Lucas) Baxter. She is also survived by her two sister-in-laws and 18 nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Ulrich Filter Funeral Home, PO Box 146, Dillsboro, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Sunday, February 19, 2006. Funeral service will be at Ulrich Filter Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Monday, February 20, 2006 , Pastor Tom Fehrman officiating. Interment will be at Oakdale Cemetery in Dillsboro, Ind.
