ROY E. TRACY, 86, of Auburn, formerly of Fort Wayne and Big Lake, died Thursday, July 26, 2007, at Laurel's of Dekalb, Butler. He was born on May 5, 1921, in Jasper County, Ill. He was a World War II Army Air Corp veteran and had worked for Slater Steel for 32 years. He is survived by sons, Terry (Jo) Tracy of Auburn and Scott (Suzi) Tracy of Roanoke; daughter, Judy Summers of Fort Wayne; sister, Evon Weaver of Nashville, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcella O. Tracy on June 23, 2007. Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, with calling one hour prior, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road.
