Obituary of Ethel A. Wangrin

Mrs. Ethel A. Wangrin, 64, 550 W. Main St., died at 5:50 p.m. Thursday in Northcrest Nrsing Home, following a long illness. She had been a patient in th enursing home since Oct. 8.

Mrs. Wangrin and her husband had owned and operated the Napoleon Hardware since 1960 and owned and operated the Liberty Hardware, Liberty Center, 1848-60. She was born in Madison County, Ohio on June 7, 1908, a daughter of Howard C. and Clara (Morrison) Harrison an dmarried Raymond A. Wangrin on Oct. 17, 1935.

She was a member of St. Pau's United Methodist Church, was affiliated with the United Methodist Woman and was a member of the Napoleon Soroptimist Club.

  • Surviving are the widower, Raymond; a son, Gary, Wheaton, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. James (Judith) Biddle, Lima, and Mrs. Daniel (Kay) Reckiewicz, Mt. Prospect, Ill.; her father, Howard Harrison, London, Ohio; three brothers, Oscar Harrison, London; Robert Harrison, Richwood, and John Harrison, Johnstown; six sisters, Mrs. Lucille Glass, Oak Harbor; Mrs. Clarabel Gosset, Fairborn; Mrs. Mary Berge, Fairfax, Va.; Mrs. Nine Lee Roberts, South Charleston; Mrs. Opal Runkle, St. Paris, and Mrs. Ruth Miller, Woodland, Calif., and five grandchildren.
  • Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Wesche Funeral Home, Rev. Norman Newman officiating, and burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visiting hours inthe funeral home are 7-9 p.m. today, 2-4 and 709 p.m. Saturday. The family prefers memorials to the American Cancer Society.
