Betty Elaine Williamson, 86 of Peoria passed away at 5:45 pm Thursday June 27, 2013 at RosewoodCare Center of Peoria.

Betty was born August 10, 1926 near Canton to Charles and Winifred (Boughan) Wenzel.She married Bernard "Bernie" Williamson September 30, 1945. Betty is survived by her husband, Bernie; two sons, Brian (Mary) Williamson of Pekin, Blair (Janel) Williamson of Greely, CO; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and older brother, Kenneth Wenzel

She was a member of the Highland Congregation of Jehovah Witness.She enjoyed her church, gardening and traveling.

Funeral services will be at 5:00 PM Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory 2131 Velde Dr. in Pekin.Visitation will be 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Private entombment will be in American Mausoleum in Peoria.
