The Baughn Family

Roberta Cox Goad- Age 95, passed from this life on Friday, November 23, 2018, after spending Thanksgiving with her loving family. Roberta is preceded in death by her husband of almost 72 years, Jimmy Goad, who passed away in September; her sons, Steve and Charlie Goad; daughter in law, Linda Goad; and her son in law, Robert "Bubba" Hall.

She is survived by her children, Donna Hall; Bev (Les) Kiblinger, Kelly (Sharon) Goad; daughter in law, Nancy Goad (Charlie's wife) ; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; her sister, Betty Tidwell.

Roberta was a Sunday School teacher for over 70 years. She loved singing, writing, and sewing. Her favorite scripture was Psalm 139, and could quote its entirety.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018, at 11:00am, at Western Hills Church of Christ with Daryl Demonbreun and David Estes officiating. Interment will take place at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens in the Garden of Serenity.

Pallbearers will be Jason Goad, Tristen Goad, London Colbert, Colin Goad, Timmy and Michael Jones, Rob Demonbreun, Jason Andrews, Tyler Demonbreun, Eddie Marchbanks, David Lofton, and Dale Denny.

Visitation with the family will be on Sunday from 1:00pm until 4:00pm, and on Monday from 10:00am until the service time at 11:00am, both at Western Hills Church of Christ.
